Hi, guys —
When receiving the Eucharist, at its elevation before me:
- Do I look at the priest, or
- the Host
as he announces, “The Body Of Christ”?
Thanks,

There is no guidance from the Church on this matter.
My response would be that it's more meritorious to adore the Eucharist you are about to receive than to make eye contact with the priest. Keeping your eye on the host will also allow you to avoid messing up the handoff.

You look at the Host in awe, as the appearance of bread is really that of Jesus Christ, Our Lord and God: Body, Blood, Souls and Divinity, consubstantial with the Father and the Holy Spirit.
