Iole,

I am very sorry to hear of your situation. Many families find themselves unable to pay for Catholic High Schools because, in most cases, the schools are not underwritten by any parish or diocese.

That means they operate fully on tuition or donations. In our area, tuition is high but many children are able to get scholarships from grants that are built upon donations and reserves that the schools create.

It is unfortunate but that is how most survive.

  • Have you inquired about scholarship programs?

Sometimes they will provide much of the cost.

I will pray for you; God will help your children no matter what. He loves you and them and is well aware of your needs. Don't lose faith; life is full of setbacks and even the Church can't make everything easy.
