Trumon,
There is no official teaching on this issue. Christians who practice a healing ministry appeal to the Divine Physician, namely Jesus Christ as the source of all healing.
Others who claim to heal by invoking some mystical power or cosmic energy would be considered misguided, at best, and possibly dangerous if those involved with them are unwittingly exposing themselves and others to principalities that are not to be engaged, or who are outright deceitful.
Christ has established an order for us. To deviate from that order exposes us to sin and peril, even if some temporary benefit were gained.
In short, avoid healers that claim to draw on anything but the healing power and love of Christ.
Peace,
Bob Kirby
