No. You are likely thinking of Henry VIII, who got a special dispensation from the pope to marry a relative, then wanted an annulment so he could divorce her to marry Anne Boleyn.

Luther had to be forced into marriage by his friends, who watched him on his wedding night to make sure he actually consummated the marriage.
