Hi, guys —
I was wondering:
- Do you like, dislike or hate Jewish people
in any way?
- Also, how does Catholicism differ from
other types of mainstream Christianity?

How
do Catholics feel about the Jews and how does
Catholicism differ from other Christianities? }

Hi, Joycie —
The Jews are our elder brothers in
faith, said John XXIII (I think it
was him). Catholics revere Jews, and
believe the teaching of St. Paul
about them: the first covenant is
not abrogated.
Catholicism is mainstream Christianity.
It is the river that sprang forth
from Christ Himself and comes to
us through the Apostles and their
successors.
All other forms of Christianity
are creeks or streams that have branched
off, and whatever living water of
truth is in them comes from the Catholic
faith.

For an answer to this question, read:

Aetate (Declaration on the
Relation of the Church to Non-Christian
Religions).
