Hi, guys —
Good evening.
By God's permission, I was just initiated into the Church this past Easter Vigil however during the baptismal ceremony, I unfortunately and inadvertently forgot my baptismal candle and therefore had to share the same one with a fellow catechumen.
- Is my Baptism still valid?
Thank you so much for your time, and God Bless you.

Eric replied:
Anthony,
Yes! Have no worries. The candle part is not an essential part of Baptism. As long as water flows over you and the minister uses the words:
"I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."
your Baptism is valid.
