I doubt that informing the priest will help. Priests don't generally take it upon themselves to correct their parishioners. Perhaps you might invite him to explain how he reconciles Freemasonry beliefs with his Catholicism and see if he understands the contradiction. (James 5:20):

20 whoever brings back a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.
