Hi, guys —
I am a Canadian living in Colombia, South America and I am married to a woman who is a Colombian National.
Prior to leaving Canada, I was going through the Baptism and Confirmation process to become Catholic. I was baptized Catholic but there is no record of it because, when I was an infant, it was an emergency.
- Can someone please assist me by directing me to an English-speaking priest either in Bogotá or Madrid Colombia, so I can finish the process I started?
I am seeking an annulment as well for my previous marriage so I can properly marry my Colombian wife. I had reached out to a parish in Canada with no response.
I desperately need help with this.

Can you help me finish the task of becoming Catholic by leading me to an English-speaking priest? }

Bob replied:
Dear John,
Sorry to hear about your troubles. Unfortunately we are not connected to any diocese in Canada or Colombia.
- Do you have any friends or relatives in Canada that are from the area where you were baptized?
Perhaps you could engage them as a researcher and find the proper connections, which may be at the diocese as opposed to the parish.
- Would your parents know the name of the priest who baptized you?
I'm sorry but we are only lay apologists and do not handle these kind of matters with hands-on support; we simply answer questions regarding the faith.
I wish we could do more to help.
God bless you.
Peace,

Hi John,
I just wanted to add a bit to what Bob has said.

One web resource that we have found very helpful to questioners of the site is Catholic Hierarchy.
You can find the home page here:
Here are web pages that you should find helpful:
Although they may not be helpful to the questions you have asked, you may find these related postings helpful, if not, insightful:
I hope this helps,
